Good night last night. Cheers chaps.
Any news on the Katana Iain?
Does anybody have any beater-ish wheels that they don't need? I'm looking for a pair of wheels in half decent shape on my single speed cx frame.

is anyone interested in joining me for a saturday morning (not too early) pootle to the delights of Barking town centre? for research purposes. route probably via peckham and woolwich ferry. I know it's not far, but it's one of those places you tend not to visit, and it is quite interesting:

Barking looks amazing, I showed that picture to Robbie and said where do you think it is and he said Berlin - and he used to live in Berlin!
Sadly I have to drive a van over to dropout's to pick up some giant triffids on Saturday.
Does anyone fancy a ride on Sunday? It's going to have the best weather of the weekend. Would like to do at least 70 miles.

admittedly it's unlikely to look like that on a grey saturday morning...
Bruce - where shall I pick you up? will be leaving kennington 9.30ish.sunday - was thinking of watching the keirin.

If your route goes via Peckham, I could meet you at Camberwell Green. Otherwise, I can head over Oval way.
-
• #20792
yep I'll be going past camberwell green. shall I pm you when I set off, or just say 9.45?
I'll probably want to stop on the bridge by city airport too. and possibly Beckton Alps if it is accessible at the mo. I hope you are up for a little meandering. -

Not Sunday, but I'd be up for a ride on Monday. If we left early we would avoid most of the rain (according to BBC weather, notorious liars...).

Will PM you, Hoef, with my contact details.

I'm hoping to ride Sunday and Monday if possible and yes the morning looks ok, hopefully!
Right now though, I need a beer. Badly.
Beer anyone? I should be out of work just after 4 all being well...

Where were you thinking of going? I have no preferences and totally suck at route planning...
