My belated birthday greetings go out to fox.
Sadly some of you lot missed out on the chance to have an epic birthday coming up north's for their 4rth anniversary. Well done to some who made it up there. we SE folks used rock up in more respectable numbers (and dressed up) to such special occasions.
good ol'days.
It was a blast, 'nuff said.

I am planning to win the euromillions this evening, but if that doesn’t work out and I’m condemned to another week of drudgery and work then I would be up for a drink. Depends where.
-
• #20559
how much is it tonight?
-
• #20560
and have you bought a ticket?
-
• #20561
105 million, divided up in some sort of millionaire draw.
-
• #20562
and have you bought a ticket?
LOL - yes, I took your advice on board and actually bought a ticket instead of talking about "when I win the lottery" in as hypothetical a sense as I could possibly manage.

It's CM tonight. I'm just going to the start and riding home. I'll probably go past the Albert. What time were you thinking?
-
• #20564
CM on the opening day of the Olympics. Bit silly if you ask me.

So you're saying that you won't be drinking if you win the euromillions?
Not too fussed about where to be honest, already at home sitting on the couch due to a power cut at work!
-
• #20566
If I win the euromillions I will be drinking champagne in a marble bath, not a pub in Peckham.
-
• #20567
Believe me, you'll never find a tradesman who can procure and install a marble bath that quickly, especially on a Friday night.
-
• #20568
I don't think the floors of my house would stand a marble bath. I'd probably have to go to a hotel for the night - hard times.
-
• #20569
Well, it depends on how much though...
£1,000,000 is not that much that you could do that very often.
-
• #20570
According to my new favourite site, www.italianmarble.com, marble baths appear to be an absolute bargain at only a few thousand dollars. Megacheaps.

PLUS
100 £1mil UK only prizes

Anyone up for a ride on Sunday?
Corlis, hats and I (and possibly cupcakes) are planning on riding to Frinton-on-Sea in Essex.
It has a mile long sandy beach! Ok, so it may not be beach weather, but it's better than staying home and watching TV...
If we can get 4 people the groupsave cost would be £13 each for the train back.
We'd probably arrange to leave from Broadway Market at 9.30, or something like that. TBC.

out for that as well as a good mate is having her farewell on sunday...
I dunno, was exhausted.
