dratt i missed that, i must have been inside chomping on my steak so to speak.
it was lovely to see you all tonight, new faces and oldish.

Lovely to see everyone again. New faces, too: WVM popping his SouthEasties cherry popsicle, good to meet you mate - I owe you a pint.
Likewise, was good to meet you all. Will endeavour to make it again although being a cycling weenie I will wait for a decent westerly breeze to help me home rather than the 21:54 from London Bridge ;)
As for those wasabi thgings, I can only describe them as 'unique'. Moreish in a sadistic way.

...an evening full of incidents, i wasnt there so i cannot tell the story. that can be somebody elses job :-)
sweet dreams everybody.well, some fotoshoots for the poster going on but i'm sure you mean the flying fists of some random teen 'gang' mock mob of first like 3 or 4 trying to 'play' with a passer by. as he flew to seek shelter in the herd of ppl infront of the pub,The Saint_"What_are_you_doing?"Gormley went to intervene. before i knew there where good 12/14 of them in the street, general shouting, punches exchanged and tha' mob on retreat. before we all figured what went down and the cops arrived it was over and The Saint"Dam'_i_saw_my_glasses_spin_off_my_nose."_Gormley had his pint replaced by a fresh drought and all went back to bikes slowly as more of 'us' arrived. hope he is still feeling good, the adrenalin can play tricks on you.
so nothing to special for a london tuesday as some said ... pfffff.

Nice to meet a few more people last night. Those kids were insane some of them were really young. I remember a 10 year old girl who thank god didn't participate in the fight. I should really learn aikido instead of qikung. What were they going to do to that guy if he hadn't managed to escape..... Brrrr
gormley you should have stuffed that kids mouth with your whiskas pelletts hehehe

Hahahaha! Gormley, I think repeatedly shouting "Oi! What are you doing?" at the kids was definitely more intense curiosity than conflict resolution. However, well done to you for getting involved. And well done for managing to save most of your pint after getting sucker-punched in the face and tripped by a child's discarded bicycle. You are my hero.
I think maybe we should start calling Gormley Wyatt Earp. Or The Peacemaker. Or maybe I'll keep brainstorming...

Seems like i've been missing out recently. I need to get my priorities straight & get over to SE's next week.
@ Temper do you still have laminating sheets? I can cycle over to you later on today if your free. I found the spoke cards i did up fuckin ages ago, I've about 25, I'll bring them along Tuesday.
-
• #1966
If you bring them, I'll sort the laminating out. I have a big run to do for my wedding anyway. That's for official wedding stuff. I'm not handing out spoke cards at my wedding. But hang on... its not a bad idea.
:)

Hey guys, for all those that haven't seen it yet, details for "The Emma memorial ride" can be found here: http://www.londonfgss.com/thread24568-2.html
It'd be great to see as much support as possible for a fallen cyclist, and there will be a prominent reading of some words from friends/her partner, in addition to filming by the bbc going on for some hopefully positive publicity for memorials and the ghost bike movement also.
