  • @Nel, yes indeed you haz my whip!

  • I returned it to Jess at the Alleycat/Nocturne.

    Cheers.

Jess, could you bring it with you when I ride to Dover?

  • Errrrrrrrrrrr, yes. I just need to... urrrrm... get it out of it's very safe hiding place.

  • Ha ha...I could make so many bad jokes right there.

Let me know if you can't find it. Need one for in a few weeks so I'll go and buy another one if so.

  • whose was the beautiful black Leader parked at the furthest bike stand from the Roe? Saw it just as I was leaving and introduced it to it's younger sister, my smaller black Leader. Beautiful setup indeed. Never seen it at the Roe before?

Fixedcheese, innit. He's sometimes at the track too. A new team mmmmeh recruit maybe?

Indeed, t'was mine. I was so sick at looking at my Langster that I rode to Dunwich that I had to take the track bike out last night. I try to make it to the track every Monday night... what's this Team Mmmmeh then eh?

only if I can beat him... or if he pulls sneaky tactics like OSR.

    I love his bike.

Tom and I were talking about ridiculous competitiveness last night, this sentence doesn't help! Thanks for the kind words about my ride!

  • Are you at work today? Apparently I'm leaving Dan's bag in the care of someone at LMNH!

Whoops, just saw this, not at work today unfortunately.

  • I was in such a state last night you could have been there and I wouldn't have noticed. I'm doing it on the Look because it's the only bike I trust to get me to the top in one piece. But it's going to be wet and it's going to get filthy which makes me sad.

I think I may have to reconsider my new commuter in light of the current summer weather we are having.

That said the ride quality of tubs at 130 PSI is really good, which was something of a surprise.

  • I think it's as much the tyre as it is the rim. The worse the weather is, the longer I'll have to stay at the pub. How unpleasant...

  • Whoops, just saw this, not at work today unfortunately.

No worries. Left it with Sumo instead.

May have two trial days next week at very good bike shop! Whoop whoop.

  • Congrads Jess!

  • So who's riding to Seaford with Pete, laner, and I on Sunday? Meet London Bridge (southwark needle) in time to leave at 10am. That means being there with time to spare to get coffee etc so we can leave at 10am.

    Pub stop included...

Looks like good weather, with a tailwind :D

Right, so it's my birthday on the 24th so I'm riding down to Seaford for some beach action. The weather is always good on my birthday, it's pretty much guaranteed. Oli has blah blah blah

£7.45 if 4 people groupsave so no pricey trains.

    Who's in?

  • I might... If my visa comes late and i cant go to france.

  • Seaford is almost as good as France.

  • I might come actually, but not that fast because of groin. What time do you set off? Are you riding fixed?

  • I will be on my fixiewooyeah. Pace will be inclusive - I can't really go very fast (if I ever could) because my knees don't seem to like it lately. And no riding like a dick...

  • Would loove to but sadly can't due to ankle.

Today has been first pain free day after 12 complete rest days so its looking positive for other rides soon.

    Enjoy...Seaford is the bollocks.

  • And no riding like a dick...

Well then, I'm out. But I'm out anyway, I think if I don't have a break soon my body will give up on me.

  • If you guys are still hungry for some mileage, come down to Plymouth and say hi.

  • the castle is dead to me, as are you mick.

For the music or the Morleys comment?

  • What you doing in Plymouth?

Last time I went there I flew. Its a long way.

  • If you guys are still hungry for some mileage, come down to Plymouth and say hi.

That's my home town, why on earth would you go there?

  • What you doing in Plymouth?

Last time I went there I flew. Its a long way.

What were you doing there? Plymouth is a really odd place these days...

  • on the train back from my Great Cornish Holiday, I was looking at the countryside between Plymouth and Taunton and it was so beautiful! I want to go there.

Indeed it is. Everywhere around Plymouth is beautiful, but Plymouth itself... probably just because I grew up there. I'm gonna shut up now before I start ranting about derelict high streets, swillies, the Plymouth Eye and the suffocating Hard-Core music scene... Ahem.

    The Barbican's nice, though...

  • the Barbican is in EC2
