  • Altura pocket rocket is the only lightweight jacket I can ever remember. I don't have one but people might want to look it up (was recommended to me by a friend).

  • And what size do you sugest? After this weekends ride in pure rain, i needs something light and small and fitting...

  • shrug

  • oh, anyone know what the one laner has is? I liked it. That and 6pts arm warmers saved my life.

    mines this one i think

  • cakescup... Im actually checking in with Sumo and Spybot as that is the jacket i think i want... Or the horrendously expensive assos one...

But all i want is as light and compact as possible

  • As above, Ian. Montane Featherlite or H2O.

  • however, you'd need a serious jacket to survive that downpour on Sunday, which wouldn't be light, packable and non-boiler suit

  • I read everywhere that it is 'moderately waterproof'...

  • or H2O

    true dat!

  • So Kirth, what do you suggest the size i should get on the Montane?

  • moderately waterproof is a good thing in my opinion, things which are fully waterproof will just drench in sweat instead of rain!

  • Laner, so how waterproof is the featherlite you have?

  • HTFU, shorts and t-shirt FTW!

Laner - I haz your chainring with me if your bored and want to pick it up?

  • Laner, so how waterproof is the featherlite you have?

in a strong downpour you will be damp under it but not soaked.

yeah mon, where do you work again?

  • Laner, Let me know when i can pick up me helmet please. Im going to Kensington at around 2:30 for dental work. But you know me, ill also be East side. and central...

  • Oh, and i think the featherlite is the right choice... Now what size should i get?

  • So mines a large, and it's reasonably loose on me. With hindsight I might have taken a medium

  • Oh, and i think the featherlite is the right choice... Now what size should i get?

they come up slightly baggy on me (small). they stock in evans so just go try one on!

if i come in to central to pick up that chainring off matt i can bring you your helmet aswell

  • What size is your forum shirt? Mine was a medium and epically tight round the shoulders.

  • they come up slightly baggy on me (small). they stock in evans so just go try one on!

    you rock

  • Euston mate, big ugly tower block at the top (North end) of Tottenham Court Road.
