Today I shall do what I usually do on a Tuesday - I shall ride slowly past SEs on my HHSB disguised as a dutch bike, thinking mournfully to myself "should I HTFU and stop by for a pint?" or, some days if I am feeling v cheerful, "Will someone shout DAS at me?" but then rolling on down the OKR and to a home where I don't need to use any acronyms but there's no beer, just gin and wine.

Just got here. Barmaid just said how much she likes 'bikers night'.
Lies.
Just done some south-eastie miles. Got lost in Bexleyheath. Now I had best roll toward the 'buck, but I will need to share a lock with someone, if that's okay.

We shout DAS at almost everyone who goes by. Just come in for a beer, we won't bite. :-)

got a cheese souffle in the oven so once I've munched that I may head down.

cheers - it's not so much the SE folk that scare me (I've been to one of the King's Head ones and chatted with the legendary and late Paul Roantree there, and I think BQ as well) as the issues about oughting to get home to do parenting/husbanding stuff

^i read in the guardian that we are ferociously snooty. probs not worth the risk of rejection PaulR. joke. you might meet pajamas and dropout on their way back from bicycling tagging of bike you recent bicycle tag of bike
-
• #11708
which reminds me, where have pajamas and dropout got to with the pictures, eh?
ponders
beer
goes and changes out of ferociously snooty suit and into retro-branded cycling gear acquired in a desperate attempt to be accepted by Peter Walker's courier chic tribe

I'm about to leave now, but I'm not allowed to stay and I'll be driving, I'm afraid (Planet X doesn't have enough clearance for the Miche wheel).
Will give Xander the hed and also bring jersey for OSR.

...and then thinks about the rain and whether the children will be spared having to water the garden with the spoon I've lent them. Beer in the rain can be good.
