  • Slow Down.

  • nice one brendan, think we should close the thread after that post.

    what a grrrrrrrrrrrrreat weekend.

  • Slow Down.

    ha! rep'd gabes.

I must spread it around it appears. could someone oblige pls?

  • .Fucking weather. Now that is over with.
This year and meeting this bunch of people has easily been the best in my 14 years in London. The people involved in not just polo, (that being my particular passion) but the rollers, the socials, all aspects of what has come out of the BFF, Londonfgss and affiliates, makes me smile for miles. There is camaraderie, a concern and a chivalry that I haven’t experienced in such numbers before. My friends outside of this community are people that over the years have been chosen for the best parts of all of you. There is such a great humanity involved here and it brightens my thoughts constantly. People watch out for each other, borrow, lend, back up, support, shout and cheer all in equal measure, how else would we meet our wonderful Gallic friends if they hadn’t been attracted by this great community and invited us into theirs. I would like to point out two particular instants from this weekend and they are not in any way unusual but indicative of all of you: 1. The impeccable gentleman that is Hassan, not even thinking twice and fixing my puncture while I was ‘leisurely’ on the loo and 2. All the concern shown to myself and Andy when we hit our heads on the floor very hard. Many thanks, we missed you Aido and I thank you Dale.
    Brendan

Tried to rep you but it wouldn't let me. I can't tell you how happy this group of humans makes me on a daily basis. All is full of love.

  • Bad & Dale got the furthest for London.
NS got to the same round. I'm trying to find a scoreboard at the moment.

  • Skoota, beautiful words.
    Gabes, Haha.
Shinscar, Hello Emilié, do you want to play bike polo?

  • Emery!

  • (stolen from staynerv off of pignofixe)

  • Also, worth noting that it's only people form London int hat photo with a beer in hand.

Best drinkers and best hecklers (once we got enough drink in us).

  • at least he didn't try and put a ruler in his mouth...

  • pretty sure he scored on that, despite brendan's awesome block attempt. hugo has one of the meanest and most accurate shots i've ever seen.

yeah i'd agree, i reckon Rob (zombie) might be up there too seriously accurate and hard!

    'thats what she said' ;)

  • I think we need oysters in London, too.

  • Malice International's MVP of the weekend was Mathieu (staynerv), who put us up and put up with us; on Friday night, when Matt and Nick called to say they were lost at 3 am, Mathieu got out of bed and went out in the pissing rain to find them. On Saturday, he was there to let us in (at 5am) and then got up at 10am on Sunday morning to send Nick on his way to the station.

    What a star, thank you!

  • Funny how your MVP wasn't on your team!!? (kidding)

No, the hospitality was great, same goes for Ronan with the dinner he cooked and breakfast he brought on Sunday. Thanks so much!

The Tourney was absolutely wicked, had so much fun, will go back for a weekend soon I hope!
