I saw a courier in London wearing some Spiderman spd shoes the other day. Anyone know where he got them?
-

You really need to use the search man there is already a spiderman spd thread, along with a captain america one, I believe forbidden planet are stocking them under license from the relevant people.

combine this idea with a pair of adidas Gazelles and you have the perfect fixed shoe

more of the gabe morford syndicates at flatspot.. can't recommend these enough, i'm still on my original pair but have just 'copped' another - the front just doesn't get torn up by cages, unlike pretty much everything else..
-

only thing they are good for is crashing
-
• #289
Hmm surely a better fixed shoe could be based on the slip on or prison issue - laces fail
Yeah, was thinking the same. Will anyone volunteer to try out martial arts shoes in toe cages? The ones below are 60 quid though.
I'd put my money where my mouth is if I actually had any. Dosh that is.

I'm liking the grey Vans Era Ripstop but £45-£50 seems excessive.
Anyone now where to get them cheaper? (Urban Excess does not have them in stock at the mo)

Chukkas are crap for cycling in, the side panels get caught in the straps so you cant get your foot in all the way.

they look really shit here

Anyone know if these are vans?
If not what are they?! -
• #298
Haha, those are my feet. They're Vans suede chukka boots from about 2 years ago. They don't do that colour way anymore though…

+1
They're reduced to £56 now from £70 already, so grab some if you like it but not keen on hipster price.
