Guess the OP just has a high level of self awareness demonstrated with their choice of username.
-
• #111
I'll smash her kneecaps.
-
• #112
very self aware, but we all have to start somewhere, at least i admit to bike selection on frame appeal and paint job, i know the parts are a bit cheap and nasty but it will live under cover outdoors, i've had too many bikes pinched to want to spend £800 which wont be covered on insurance.
pulling teeth alludes to profession , loving the picture by the way -

So you are a dentist?
Do I get a prize?
-
• #114
Sweet shop owner?
A dentist would be able to spell 'teeth'.
-
• #115
no prizes except for correctly guessing i was in a bit of a tired and emotional state when i typed in the user name.had been to cycle show then on to bricklane bikes, watching all the hip and trendy ,very well groomed, considered look cyclists and being miffed i am too old to carry it off......still fancy a fixe though.I did a duathalon with an off road cycle 20k and wondered if a 29er fixie for off road would fit the bill.need to do more root canal need two bikes
-
• #116
Hey pullingteeth, I had a root canal a while ago and they put a temporary filling in. I've never been back to get the crown done. Is this bad?
-
• #117
I haven't been to the dentist in 17 years, is this bad
Teeth must be healthy, never had a filling!
-
• #118
blimey,17 years, they are probably OK but never a bad thing to let someone have a butchers, remember there are gums in there as well, and we check for a host of other stuff.
Balki, you should get it done as a rootfilled tooth with a temp can leak and fail and its probably more prone to fracture.kinda depends on which tooth and how big the restoration is.If you wait till it hurts or breaks it's only going to cost you more... -
• #119
Leaky teeth? Dont want that.
-
• #120
I went for the first time in 10 years the other day, started out well until he tried to x-ray my teeth by putting some black thing in my mouth (fnarr) making me wretch uncontrollably. Bleurgh. See you in another 10!

ooh I don't like tired and emotional dentists I had one as a child who was a bit enthusiastic with the electric tooth brush, it tickled so much I did a piss in his chair.
Have a look here, I found it very useful http://www.londonfgss.com/thread9085.html

Would it be wrong for me to own 2 Bowerys? I am thinking about it.
It looks like a good bike. I was going to go for a Fuji Track, but none of the cyclescheme dudes near me offer it :( Would you recommend this bike then (without considering te aesthetics) ?
-
• #124
without considering the aesthetics, it looks fucking ridiculous.

GA2G loved his. But its a lot different to the Fuji track. Different geometry, and different frame material. Weather this is good or bad different is down to personal taste.
....and what Balki said.
fake!
