not french or italian, but I'm watching "the core" on C4 and had to laugh at their portrayal of "London's historic trafalgar square"
2003, but flat capped cabbies, a bus and driver straight out of 1976 (with a pepsi ad on the side) and every single person was white. -

Fucking brilliant. If you've seen it and like the director, see 'Lemmings' as well.

Repped. Laugh-out-loud funny, not what you expect from the French
If you want darkness watch La Grande Bouffe. A group of gourmat's gather to eat themselves to death over a weakend
'La Chateau de ma Mere' and 'La Gloire du mon Pere' are excellent heart warming coming-of-age films. Watch with attractive French women preferably

It's 'Lemming', actually rolls eyesWhat was that other one out at the same time about the media couple who were being spied on? That was good too.
Why does it have to be a French or Italian film?

Belle de Jour. Good if you like feeling worn out by the time the film finishes (which I do.) Same sort of sensation when I saw After Hours the first time.

Like I said on another thread, it's the red wine [st]talking[/st] typing ;)
Are you talking about "Caché".
That was alright, but I don't think Haneke's bettered "Funny Games" yet.
Bike related or not. Recommend a film, and tell me why it's good. Bear in mind I've already seen The Bicycle Thieves.
