bonbon el pero: ok it's argentinian, but nicely filmed and no nasty stuff (if you're fed up with violence)

'La Chateau de ma Mere' and 'La Gloire du mon Pere' are excellent heart warming coming-of-age films. Watch with attractive French women preferably

Belle de Jour. Good if you like feeling worn out by the time the film finishes (which I do.) Same sort of sensation when I saw After Hours the first time.
