What a great ride my first one !!

+1 thanks to MA3K.
+1 Millennium Bridge
+1 Fast ride home to the East. Think it was about about 35 mins from Kew to Old St, which isn't bad considering the gridlock around [st]absolute-hell-on-Earth[/st] the West End.
And I still win the prize for most anti-HHSB 'fixie' ;)

amazing ride lastnite. thanks to the guy who helped me out after that rather gay collision with that white car/van?!

thanks also for jiggy james being a good local host at the end, coffee, whiskey pump etc.

That was ace! Really good to see some familiar faces aswell as new ones - good to put some board names to faces too. "What's your name mate?" "Noooo, you're board name!!" The amount of people that were just simply amazed at the sight of 150 people bombing it round the streets at that time, looks of confusion on there faces, people asking questions and taking some kind of interest.
Also funny seeing the amount of pissheads and revellers at that time - mainly all the knobbys around Putney
Ace ride, ace people, ace bikes
Me knees and guiche are killing me now! -

Thanks to the Cambridge lot for the supply of booze - I owe you guys. Hope your mate whose tyre blew out got back ok.
We eventually found Ryan (guy with blown tire) by Tower Bridge and we got back home OK. I think we actually saw you cycle past our van near Brick Lane after we stopped for bagels. Cheers BigSteev.

YO yo... good ride lovely weather, as said before pace/stops abit of a pain... but probably a good thing for the last few bridges and the ride back home...
nice chattin to all the familiar faces as well as the not so familiar. Henry your bikes shit ;).... now you and dale can both have bike sex and spawn little geek babies.
hmmmmm back to my coffee & hot cross bums (see thread).

Great fun and what a turn out!
+1 to MA3K the sound over the wobbly bridge was the best of the night.
I bailed out at Chiswick bridge I think and headed back East via Putney, Clapham, Streatham and Catford. got home at 3 am.
Thanks to Dave4 for some dates and the guy dishing out Hobnobs around Putney, put some fuel in the tank to get home.
67 miles door to door.My photos that are viewable are here [i.e not too dark or of my shoulder], click the pic

Thanks everyone for giving me my most enjoyable cycling experience ever. I was a bit shy so I didn't speak to most of you but a big thanks to Eric (Vinylpimp?) for showing me the way back to Hackney Via bagels. My highlights: Millennium Bridge, being awed by the sight of Hippy's calves :) and just the general spectacle of so many cyclists taking over the roads.
P.S I am in love with Dogsball's Geekhouse bike. I kept on wanting to have ago but was afraid to ask.

Memorable ride, folks. Milennium bridge and hammering through Barnes to Hammersmith bridge were highlights. Look forward to more pictures from Trafalger Sq.. Chris is right about the stop/start nature in the earlier part, but with a record tunout of 120+ near unavoidable if we're going to stick to our principle of not dropping folks.
Ved, I love the l.e.d.s. Henry and Dale to go head to head in the bike beauty competition.
Casualty toll: Mr Hoops, James and especially Slaytanic, hope there's no lasting damage.
Thanks again John Ma3K
i'm ok. went to hospital and left soon after as I couldn't be arsed with waiting. cracked open another beer and left. cheers to cake (jay) for riding me back. I'm learning that tyskie and stella are a dangerous combo with riding!
