^^ why do companies never publish even a ballpark wage/salary?
Had several where I've applied for v.interesting jobs had nice phone interview with them, all goes well, till it gets to money then it turns to jokes.

Your key there is "Interesting job", If it's an interesting job the pay is usually not the best.

Interesting being a euphemism for "rent, bills or food, choose one"?

Saw this, although it is driving cars around for some reason i thought i would post it here incase it interested any one for next summer. Maybe feel like you are semi-involved in the olympics.
BTW The company has nothing to do with me, i don't know anyone who works there i have no interest in it.

We've got a vacancy going, possibly for two people at the company I work at. Not really got a job spec as such, but it's Customer Services.
Company is a lead generation Marketing company called Marketing VF, based in Kentish Town, really nice place to work, plenty of cyclists in the office too.
Involves replying to emails, changing client accounts, a bit of data entry into an Excel spreadsheet, and speaking to some people on the phone. It's not a call centre job where you're on the phone all day, but you would be expected to make some calls to customers and clients in your average day.
If you think you can manage that and you're looking for a new job, or you're out of work, fire over a CV to:
sophie.roberts@marketingvf.com
It's a small company that's growing very quickly so it's not like you come in and do the exact same thing every day. Things are changing, you might be expected to do something different every now and again and maybe get used to a new process as software is updated. Looking for people who are open to change, a bit of quick thinking, and plenty of initiative. It's not the sort of role where you walk in, get taught a process, and do that exact same thing for the rest of your life.
Someone is in for an interview tomorrow? Try not to think of me in heels when I'm asking serious questions...

Pretty much! But I can tolerate proper jobs (doing what I do, project manager/marketing/development) if they are paid at a proper rate, or similarly don't mind doing a proper job project for a charity/unpaid for something interesting/ good will etc. Just finding something that sits between those lines is very tricky :p

Nice, good luck, they're a good bunch. I used to work with a few of them, and live with one of them.
