Had it been fashion trends I would've been well up for it.
Not enough work makes Todd a dull boy. :-(

I'm looking for work at the moment, I'll primarily be looking for something bike related as I've got 5 years experience in bike shops. But, I'm a 3D design student, with very practical skills and would be willing to do lots of other stuff, if anybody has anything going.
My student loan is pretty much gone, so if anybody has anything going let me know and I can email you my CV. I need some cash asap! Thanks

I need a job currently working very part time invidulating in a gallery
'Invigilating'?
-
• #216
ok I don know how to spell it invigilation?
but it is essentially just standing there dressed in black
just a part time job while I was at uni
-
• #217
sounds like a title made up in a managerial meeting.
Sammy have you tried calling any bike shops? Bigger chains like Evans and Cycle Surgery usually have vacancies fairly regularly. Call each store individually rather than calling head office. Generally it'll be the shop manager's decision who and when to hire. Don't call at lunch time or after 5pm though (or on a weekend). Worth trying the smaller and indie bike shops too though, just less chances.

Yea I did the rounds yesterday, there's not a lot going at the moment. Got one shop to chase up though. Fingers crossed.

I've posted a few months back - but this time it's serious.
Bitten off more than i can chew again.
Need a Retoucher tomorrow! Must be well well able in either Skin & Beauty or Water based retouching. There's 250ish / + Clams in it for you - and you get your own MacPro,30" ACD and a Wacom.
Water like the Horses here:
& Skin. like skin.- only better than real skin (inserts dove commercial here)

Might be a long shot but what the hell. Any copywriters here with pharma experience and familiar with the ABPI? My Creative Director is looking for some and tapped me.
I work in advertising in Covent Garden and my agency uses loads of freelance artworkers so I might be able to forward a CV from someone who is actually competent with a portfolio to prove it. No guarantees on the artworker position but qualified copywriters are needed.
If qualified and interested send me a PM as I might not see replies in the thread.

I know I'll probably get shit for this because "it's a 'vacancies' thread", but I'm getting desperate.
I need a placement in graphic design/web design/anything related (preferably Junior Designer or something) to do as part of my uni course, been scouring the interwebs for months, sent countless emails to no avail...If it comes to it, I will settle for internships, but I do need to eat sometimes.
So all you graphic design web nerds (I know there's lots of you on here) please help me out and ask if your company needs a skivvy to boss around/do fuck all/pay peanuts/none of the above (hopefully).
If I don't find enough work to fill 44 weeks by September 1st, I have to downgrade my degree and go straight back to uni in september (puke)!
Got a portfolio, examples of work etc etc that I will happily send on.

Have you tried jobsite? There seems to be quite a lot of vanacies going for graphic designers. It often sends out emails with most matching job vanacies to your interests on a daily basis so you're never short to keep applying on.
Not sure if A. it's been filled or B. it's already been mentioned but I know Two Wheels Good (Stokey branch) are looking for a saturday mechanic or were a couple of days ago.
