  • I HAVE WORK AND NEED MANPOWER:

I run a high end furniture delivery and installation company operating accross London with a base in Crouch End N8. We are looking for casual workers to work on a self employed basis for good rates. Typical pay ranges from £7.50 to £10 per delivery, depending on what you are delivering and how long it takes to complete the task. I need people to start pretty much immediately and could do with some folk for tomorrow. Weekend work also available.
If you have an interest in furniture this could be a good way to get to know product well.
Ideally we would like folk with a can-do attitude, some initiative and with a willing to do the best job possible. Start and finish times vary with the volume of work and locations are all over London so you would need to be prepared to travel sometimes to get to the first job. Work varys from multi drop 2 x man deliveries, to extensive on site installations. One project we are working on is lasting a month with a team of 4 guys on site, so good earning potential there. I would say that this job is easier and better paid than being a cycle courier, but you can still stick our bike in the van if you prefger to cycle too and from the first / last job.

PM for details or call on Zero Two Zero Eight, 348 6758 and ask for Ollie King.

    Cheers

In a moment of weakness I recently agreed to film a friend's wedding - which I did - and I swore I would never do again.

In a moment of weakness I then agreed to edit a wedding video for another couple who heard that I did the first one...

They gave me some music, a vague idea of what they want and four or five mini HDcam tapes which I've digitised but I honestly don't have the time at the moment.

Are there any editors short of work who fancy putting it together? There's about four hours of footage (some of it looks decent, the rest looks a mixed bag) - I can provide the digitised footage and some guidance.

Ideally if you could use FCP or Premier and give me the project file so I can relink, as if they want tweaks I can do it myself (I don't have access to Avid at the moment)

As I offered to do it for free, because I'm an idiot, I don't want them to pay so I'd rather pay you directly. But equally I'd rather not have to hire someone from Evolutions on their time and a half day-rate.

Any takers with a bit of time looking for a bit of cash, let me know.
