I think I know that owner from the odd Fixed Bristol meet! Thoroughly nice guy - you might spot it around North Bristol/South Gloucs lanes occasionally.

who and what is fixed bristol?
-
• #260
a bunch of people who ride fixed in bristol. generally an older crowd, some been riding since before you were born. we occasionally go on rides and meets, they have been to the velodrome in newport. a nice bunch of folk, mostly into older vintage bikes. its sometimes hard to get peolpe together because of family and work commitments but good when it happens. cos its an older crowd and the emphasis is on going for rides, i think its good.
been around longer than this here forum too by the way.
oh, and its not a forum. but if you get on the email list, thats the way it works.

Peter was representing Fixed Bristol at No Gears (the Cube night on the 23rd). He handed me a card as I left.
It's cool that event brought riders of different ages and from different backgrounds out.

Just browsing their photo gallery. I find my bike on there. It's incorrectly labeled as 'Dan's BJ'!

Saw proper hipster style bright orange frame with orange deep-v's and bar tape to match outside the Bristol uni building the other night. I had to laugh, it was even locked up hipster style 4 foot up some wall/railings! Looked pimp as fook mind.

Also saw a brand new '08 Langster in my bike shed - whoever bought it went straight to fixed, but rides with 2 brakes - any ideas?
That would be me then... Yep, I ride with two brakes cos it came with them... ;o)
Which would be your bike? The blue On-One?
