Saw a guy skidding down Park Street on a black bike with drops at about half four yesterday afternoon! I was pushing my BMX up the hill heading to Oppo for a much needed post work pint!

Plus it's not a good idea to try and cycle through the new shopping bit in the centre, cabot circus or whatever it's called, unless you want to get shouted at by some rather large security guards! Found that out on my way to work this morning!

I can only assume that was me, i mean the whole point of slogging up Park St and Brandon Hill is that you get to slide back down them.... no? think i did Park St about 3 times yesterday... luckily i've got Gatorskins on at the mo'..!

Yeah.. i discovered that with the small Critical Mass crew at about 6pm about 10-15 of us cycled through most of them ringing bells and asking where the cycle parking was (they've got 3000+ car spaces but not a single designated bike parking area... so much for promoting cycling...!) the security guards looked bemused, but were actually fairly polite to their credit.....

I've been making leather doublisers if Bristol people need them.
Just thought I'd put that out there...
I also have a shit-load of black metal size M clips cheap.
Shameless plug now over ;-o

Spotted last night 8.10-8.20 riding up park street three guys on fixed gear bikes, 2 made it to the top one did not, all spotted withing a few minutes of eachother??!!#1 - black frame, skinny jeams, beany, looking quite stealth.#2 - skinny jeans VERY shiny mini D lock (possibly accesorised with dimante!)#3 - again skinny jeans... strong start but had to bail halfway.Never seen so many Bristol FG's in such a short space of time.Ollie
Spotted Sunday afternoon, down by the water between all the festival crap and the Bristol Beer Factory boat... 2 lads; one Bianchi Pista with red keirin grips, and an emerald green conversion with white grips on risers and white hubs (nice touch).
Hello, I ride the Bianchi, personally but am always riding with friends. Despite what my bike may lead you to believe, I don't have the most garish or extroverted personality but please do make yourself known next time you see me around.
I believe we ran into Ward-a-mercy tonight, on a little night ride and he happened redirect us here.
Hello, once again. I'll persuade my friends to follow me and sign up here. -

Aha, cool, yeah -- we spend a lot of time down there just dicking around after work or whatever --- not many people seem to have moved in just yet so it's nice and quiet down there at the moment...you can really take it all in, it's quite a nice area.

If you like Leeds...
I guess I'll settle for anywhere that is, for the most part, wanker [i.e: drunks, tight security...] free. In saying this, I have my doubts about Leeds...ahha, but what do I know, I've never actually visited the city.

Leeds is really nice! My girlfriend went to university there so have been back with her to visit many times!

Just saw my old BMX! Was stolen over a year ago! It's an all black Wethepeople with one break, silver pedals and a 'Retribution' sticker on the handlebars! It was heading down Stokes Croft towards town as I was on my way home! Didn't really see the guy riding it and he was gone before I could do anything! If I had been on my bike I would have given chase! If anyone sees it about please let me know! I loved that bike! Thanks!

Black, lugged steel frame, risers & white soyo grips. White hubs & deep vs, running NoBrakes™ on chromed forks, low gearing.
Seen parked in the old bit of Cabot Circus on Sunday, then seen spinning down Cotham hill past the hospital later the same day.
Nice clean bike even if your chain needed tightening ;-)

Gutted Ned, i'm still waiting to bump into the twat that nicked my old raleigh. I wasn't in the know about fixed gear back then, but it would make a sweet conversion now!! I'm sure you'll see him again, and chase the dog down!!
-
• #44
yeah, get the fucker!
i've had the sweet feeling of 'stealing' my bike back a month or so after it was nicked. saw it locked up, so i locked it again and got some bolt croppers and cut their lock. i never saw them though.
non-bike friends asked me how i knew it was my bike. duh.

Spotted this evening at about 6.30pm: Someone on a white On-one overtook me on the cycle path by the three lamps junction. I was with the wife waiting for the crossing lights.
