Well that was fun!
Just nipped into Soho with Skully and Gina for a pint - thanks for the Guinness Ben, then back to my local eaterie for beef brisket, roast potatoes, gravy and mustard. Lish!!

thanks guys, that was great... same time next week..
Don't know why, but when I read that, it had massively gay overtones.

God, i had two pints of G, I feel a bit woozy. GinaG bought me my second, which seems, somehow, as it should be. Work eventually phoned to say "where the fuck are you?!" Damn.

Nice ride chaps (and lady). Always nice to get out of the office. Even better to get out and stretch the ol' legs. Work permitting I'll be there next week. With a jumper if it's as nippy out.

I'll take the chorizo home for tonight :-) -

Great ride, glad I forced this onto everyone! I think in future it would help if we had one meet up place rather than 3 or 4! Tate/Millenium Bridge should be kept as it's the original (isn't it?)
I'm possibly out next week, but I'm on for the week after. Anyone think heading in a new direction might be fun, or does everyone like the Battersea park ride? I think we ended up doing about 8-9miles today!
-
• #741
i am sorry for detouring all of you to battersea and then not coming but it was a tad too late for me
-
• #742
i'll leave this here for next week then we can pick it up friday - but...
... maybe we could meet westminster or waterloo next week..? or even lambeth bridge?
tate modern doesn't seem to get many people coming these days.. we waited a fair while for the ride to start today.
okay, laters

I think the problem was we all decided to meet at different spots at the same time..
1pm at the tate, 1pm and Lambeth and about 1.10 for Tika at Battersea.
So people get to the tate for 1pm then wait a bit for everyone, then go and it slows everyone else down. Should've staggered it a bit better

Might be up for today if I can get the fsckin track day spoke cards printed, my inkjet is being a complete arse... :/
-
• #746
Corny you up for this dawg?
I'm going to tentatively say the meeting point today is South side Lambeth Bridge at 1pm.. and hope that's okay with people..
-
• #747

it would be nice to have some new faces along.. anyone who fancies this - come down, it's really nice. fits in to your lunchtime really well if you're centrallish.
