so many design issues (plastic, rubber, round profile compatibility, the usb interface), get an exposure, always

If you want to use with a Wahoo you can turn the puck around using an allen key.

  • Cheers, just need to check that it's the same fixing as my light. Looks like it should be.

  • What the forum approved rear light for arround 30 quid. My moon has died strangely after charging was working before charging. :(

  • I'd stretch to this.

Exposure lights are bomb proof in my experience.

  • cheers Andy will order one .
My moon is acting so strange only works with a charge lead stuck in despite saying fully charged really annoying liked that light.

  • v happy chain reaction sale got the front and rear set for for 40 quid. ta again Andy

  • I’ve heavily invested in exposure lights in recent times, so very happy to report some great service with an issue that had developed with my Diablo out of warranty.
Great lights and great people to deal with.

  • Good to know . I have loads of hope stuff but the cable joins are a problem . I find my exposure maxx d a bit heavy also.

  • Would anyone like a 30% off code for seesense.cc? I got it with my cycling Ireland membership and I don't need any more lights

  • what are the forum-approved lights at the moment? preferably usb-c rechargeable ?

  • Not sure, my favourite are moon lights plenty bright ,good battery and good build quality

  • Exposure, many of mine are 5+ years old now and still great.

  • usb-c

That's still a bit niche right now.

  • Supernova or Exposure, but no usb-c

  • To see or be seen? Ravemen are getting pretty good reviews in the ‘see’ category, which I suppose also covers ‘be seen’ as well.

  • I don't know about pricing but I rate Exposure and Lezyne Strip Drive lights.

I carried a Strip Drive around Badlands and it didn't move whereas most cheap rear lights seem to end up disappearing under a car wheel at some point.

  • how do exposure (trace) rear lights get on with water? mudguards essential?

  • Been ok for the past year . Keep grit out of the rubber seal and you should be ok . The front is a to be seen not to see with.

  • thanks

  • I just picked up a Lezyne 800xl. Man, great price for the output and build quality. Incredibly bright.

  • I've had one for years, never had an issue with water getting in, but I do usually ride with guards

  • Plus you get used to looking for the orange little glow that tells you when to charge it. When you turn it off.

  • I followed one on tour for 3 days (if 18) of rain and grit and it did so well (brightens/lens shape/durability) I bought myself one when I got back. The lens sets it apart from other lights, incredible visibility from afar. Rather than just seeing the LED it kind of bounces a sphere of light out. Highly recommend.

  • Horrid light to follow though. Especially in the dark. Do not recommend for group riding or a in particular audax in the dark.

Audaxers hate flashing lights. For good reason.
