to clarify this is Fiddy's buddy John (with the bike Fiddy helped him build (Optima?)) - not sure if he's even on the forum yet, can't remember his forum name if he is... anyone with his details could you pm me?
Just got this from shootthebreeze: Fiddy was knocked down on Hackney Road around 7.30pm evening, on the way to Easts. He was riding with his mate John who was a few meters behind - apparently a car turned right into a side road and didn't see him, crossing into his path. Several of the guys stopped by the scene en route to Easts - Paul was conscious but there was blood involved and he was being attended to by ambulance crew. He has now been taken to hospital (John has gone with the ambulance) and tbh I think that's all that's known at the moment.
I don't feel like it should be me posting this but pretty much everyone who knows isn't near a computer at the moment and I'm sure some of you would like to keep him in your thoughts and maybe send your regards..
Paul please get better as soon as you can mate, worried thoughts going out to you and wishing you a speedy recovery.
