I work west, so that's at least one good thing over there. ;-)

EVERYTHING SHIT IS EAST (because they haven't built the velopark yet)
fixed.
actually, sorry.
the east of London is good for:
- Getting your bike stolen
- Being a hipster
- Thinking the world revolves around you
- Posh people pretending to be poor
- Being a hipster
- Being near where all the cab drivers live
but I'm being flippant. It's all london, it's all good.
apart from north london, that really is a fucking horrible place.

I arrived on Thursday, and I have been running ever since. I really like London, but Kensington is extremely expensive. Last night we drank at the Builders Arms. The atmosphere was pretty cool. I have seen a lot of geared bikes, one fixed gear, and a bunch of singlespeeds on flip-flop hubs.
I'm not going to be online much, but I want to go to some drink nights with all of you.

- A style of music characterized by having both metal and punk influence. The term was first coined by the band DOA on the "Hardcore '82" EP, if I'm not mistaken. Unfortunately, it's being taken to extremes by suburban gangbangers who form crews and beat the shit out of people who don't let them karate dance wherever they want to. And they don't have any respect at all, in most cases. Hardcore used to be about unity and brotherhood, but now it's about who has the biggest crew and who dances the hardest. And it's becoming closer and closer to bad death metal with 1-chord breakdowns. *
- OG hardcore kid: What's up, man? Have you heard this band Gorilla Biscuits? They're rad. Circle pit!

That's one of the most fucking ridiculous things I've seen..
That's not going to look good in Kensington Gardens.
-
• #44
Why would Ken's Garden have anything like this hxc bollocks going on?
What happened to good old moshing where you tried hard to injure other people.. instead of just dislocating your own arms in some fucking flail. Thanks fuck I moved on to techno if this is what happened to metal.
-
• #45
hahah. Not sure about this hxc music, though it got better in the second half of that video.
-
• #46
"My flat (dorm or whatever) is in Kensington": nearest green space?
Could have a great mosh in that fountain thing. -
• #47
Ahh.. now I get where this hxc bollocks came from.. the OP likes it..
ah fucking reality hits home..
senses become clear as the window of life de-mists..
