i used to drink a lot as a kid, as in started at the age of ten and until 13 we'd meet up with friends every friday to sip on some beer which was sold to us illegally. Sometimes we'd drink vodka in school disguised in a "sprite" bottle.

When I had my own apt I had these god awful neighbors living above me, I tried on different occasions to be friendly but always got rude comments from them. One night while getting ready and a few drinks, their blankets that were hanging out to dry fell into my backyard, and at the time I had my puppy who was potty training in the back....needless to say, they didn't get their blankets back clean (I made sure of it) when I returned them. They never said another word to me.
I'm an awful person.
Sounds like the rude fuckers deserved it.

I am rubbish at adjusting V-brakes and always end up asking my dad to do it for me. It took me 45 minutes (in the dark mind you) to adjust my gear ranges and sort the indexing the first time I ever did it.

Before Sunset/Before Sunrise if we're talking romantic.

Bambie, went to see it in the old wimbledon theatre which had a balcony (about 20 something years ago now)... the people below must have thought it was raining...
Not much of a confession though... better one is that ET gave me nightmares... someone got me the picture book of the film and I couldn't touch it, because it scared me so much...

Despite the fact that I take the piss out of people who like stuff such as Sex and the City, me and my brother watch 'The Hills' and 'The City' on MTV.

Forgive me Tynan for I have shimmed
Last night I saw a German Mixte tourer that had been chained to the railings outside a favourite Hipster Boozer in E2. I had first seen it last Thursday, relatively intact. Yesterday its wheels had been "taco'ed", a fork blade had been almost snapped, the brake levers and caliper arms had been snapped. Basically a wanton vadalism rather than a serious effort at nicking it.
The reason it caught my attention last week was the bars. Belleri (I think) continental touring bars (a bit like moustaches), which i quite fancied.
This morning I stopped on my way to work, undid the the shite quill on there and took them.
I felt bad. But not that bad.
Shall I say six Hell Yeahs?
Edit/PS/btw the frame is still fine, if anyone's looking for a beater/polo/emergency frame. Twin top tube, quite nice lugs. About 20" seat tube at a guess. Had a half decent DLock on it so angle grinder needed. PM for location.

i would have done it too!

Thanks tika. It's owner obviously couldn't care less, why leave it there for at least four days? The tyres had air in, everything worked (last week). I suppose they may have lost their key. It was obviously the sort of ride you get for £50 from that dude on Brick Lane.
Actually had quite nice cranks, cottered with decent chrome. Think I might be back later with a hammer!

Yes I stole. From a bike that will be removed by the council eventually and scrapped.
-
• #495
4 days aint that long for someone who lost their key to either:
1 - order a replacement key from lock co.
2 - organise an angle grinder to get the bike themselvesi find it very hypocritical when we all go on about theiving scumbag, then someone sees something they like (yeah, it had been vandalised. so what) and takes it themselves.
-
• #496
yeah, you should at least put a note on it in case the owner wants the bars back...
-
• #497
Yes, you stole but meh, finders keepers.

i can bunny hop quite high now but have always relied on my clips & straps to do so. i never bmx'd but i skated for 8 years.
i can hardly control a bmx.
apart from weird bunny hops and i can't do any tricks except skid.
once riding past my girlfriends house on an empty road i tried to look into her bedroom window whilst going quite fast.. ended up veering off to the side and ripping off some poor sod's wing mirror (parked car) with my bullhorns. shamelessly sped off as i was too broke to stick around and get caught.i shout at drivers even when it is my fault.
i'm pathetic. i also got a pinch flat 6 miles from home a couple of days ago and was too broke to get the train home/didn't have any spare tubes or patches. ended up walking back with my bike. i have never been so jealous of other cyclists in my life.

Same... And when it's my fault... moogs is always chastising me for it, I can't whistle and I have an obscenely loud voice, so, yelling is my only option. he doesn't like it :(
you're already a expert!
of course :)
