I confess that about a month after building a new bike/other thing I have this pointless want for a new build that I don't need.

Since building the pendle I've considered:

a road bike
a cross bike
a track only bike
a cheap fixed that I wouldn't have to care about
a singlespeed 29er

Ah well, thank god I haven't actually spent money on anything I'm just gonna build the pendle up really nicely and sort out a cheap SSCX for winter.

The feeling that 'you've had enough' is probably the biggest springboard for changing behaviour that you will ever get. Take a deep breath, hang in there and use that fed up feeling to propel yourself forward in the right direction.

The POC mips mtb helmets are brilliant. I hope when my catlike whispers need replacing their will be mips equipped road helmets from POC.

I'm really shit at replacing bar tape.

It took me longer to do one side than it did to replace both my brake cables and housings - and that took an age as one of the cable end covers (do they have special name?) was stuck in the brake housing and it took ages to get it out.

I've just put a combination of pink and apple green bar tape on my road bike.
