Not a standard overnight courier company. Is the delivery time-sensitive?

I mean, don't use a standard over-night courier company - they'll break the glass, and no standard courier company carries insurance for glass.
-
• #158
Delivery is not time sensitive, can take a week or so if it has to.
glas is 10mm thick, tempered safety glass- I'd prefer it to be in one bit when it arrives

Could you recommend a slow but cautious company?

I would be looking at these guys:
I used them before, very reasonable rates, and seemed responsible.
Whoever you go with, make sure they know exactly what it is that they will be delivering.
If not, I would be looking at specialist shippers, which I can't help with.

Do post back here with the quote, and the service, I would be very interested to know.

They never responded to my request for a quote, so fuck 'em.

Really? Slack.

If they cannot be bothered to reply to requests for quotes then I'm not going to chase them for one.
Does seem a bit unprofessional, but maybe they've got too much work on and don't want anymore jobs.

LOL the tags at the bottom of this thread cracked me up!
Companies vary, but the one that treats its rider with respect and dignity gets my vote. . .and in this economic climate respect and dignity are, I'm afraid, way down the list of any business struggling to survive in the most expensive city in the UK whether they are a courier company or something else.
Change is coming people. . .its time to consider humanity before profits.
Used Bycaboy Seb, fantastic customer service, collected within 2 mins of my placing the order, delivered very quickly. Price was really good too.
