Ecourier won't be directly employing whoever is organising the Shropshire delivery.
The reason overnight stuff is so much cheaper than sameday is cos it gets consolidated in a similar way to the ordinary post by a London overnight company, who will then distribute to various agents countrywide.
It's great when it works, which 99.8 per cent of the time, but when it goes wrong it can be very difficult to get straight answers out of overnight agents. Not excusing the poor service that you have been given, but...

That is very good indeed, and surely 'To be wrong' must be a trolling name?

" I dont want a fucking transit to carry my tiny envelope from EC3 to EC2."
You could've done that yourself!
Yeah, take it yourself, you lazy sod.
if he's at work, they're probably paying him to be doing something else with his time!

No, I changed his user name from "Toby Wong" to "Toby Wrong".
-
• #109
Ah, good. I was wongering why some people were calling him 'Toby Wong'. :)
-
• #110
Yeah, it was my way of saying "turn it down, or I'll turn you off". Whether he pays attention or not is anyone's guess.

Oh no, not this again. Yeah, maybe. Can't tell from the ip addresses or the email addresses, so no proof. Who cares anyway?

Quite a few couriers care.I say care, they'd like to give him a dig.

• #114
But you don't know who he is in real life?
Looks like a troll to me, anyway.

As all of those users log on from internet cafes, there's no way I can check. Give him a dig? What for? Being a mouthy, obnoxious c*** on the internet?
But you don't know who he is in real life?
I don't know who it is,no.There's a lot of speculation though.
Not by me. He claims to have worked at the same places as me and Overdrive, but that applies to literally 1000s of people.

Er,yeah.Is that not allowed?

Well, it isn't, no, but that's not the point. As Oliver says, he's a troll, and he's not worth the effort. He enjoys the attention - that's the whole point of what he does.

I (we) paid for a next day delivery from City to Shropshire on Friday. Pack left 1600 on Friday (so well within cut-off time). E-courier made a lame attempt to deliver it on Saturday (as contracted), and then told my office manager (on Monday) that we hadn't paid for the Sat service.
Cut to Monday and they promise delivery by 1600. Notwithstanding that, and my lovely office manager having being disconnected, the A4 pack arrived last night in Shropshire at 2100.
That my email to the MD has had no reply after 22hours is telling. (Update Kevin (international and next day manager) called. To his credit he listened but I also told him he had lost the work)
As for the courier popcorn, I have been waiting absolutely ages to post the attached pic - but i failed in that so here...
