better hope there is no news or you'll be fucked getting around south london by sound and touch

Awesome amounts of blindness coming out here.. Not only missed the subtle meet venue but the time and even the date!
Anyone care to give me a tow next week as I'm blind?

okay quick word with snowy, and others last night, anticipation is high for south beers on tour. So here is a probably route. Start off in a pub in borough say 6pm -7pm, what was the one we went to last year when BRM cracked his head open, its where two pubs open out onto the same courtyard, kinda tudor looking.
Anyway possibly start there, or some other borough boozer which people may find preferable, thence to camberwell for the sun and doves, el squire anything you can do on the food front?
http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/34/3404/Sun_and_Doves/CamberwellSo possibly stock up on food, then onwards to the mighty prince regent in herne hill
http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/72/7278/Prince_Regent/Herne_Hilland also possibly dropping in on the effra,
http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/13/1391/Effra_Hall_Tavern/Brixtonmaybe before or after we go to the mansion
http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/27/27757/Mansion/Gipsy_Hillbefore heading back to ye olde coach and horses.
obviously all pubs up for negotiation, if you know of another better/more bike suitable pub in the same locale, punt it forward. Lets just be clear though we will need bike parking/beer garden/ railings to lock up the worthy steeds, so if its just a good boozer it might not be suitable...
So come on put in your tuppence worth and we'll get this thing going. Just four more days until the bog off..

Sounds great, I'm almost certainly in!
That courtyard place was The George, I think. Will be fucking packed but it's still a good starting point, can just roll on from there. -

I was in the Grove in Camberwell last friday evening and although it's a little trendy (relatively expensive) it's quite nice..
Other plusses:
-there weren't many people around
-a couple of places to lock bikes right outside -
• #143
@ brett - ride safe.
-
• #144
Always do! WTF did you find that?!!

Been down to t'mines..
The original photoshop thread had only one reply - that was you posting this! ha. -

Good in Camberwell is the Hermits cave. Proper boozer. U lock up's outside, but a lot of carnaged bikes on them.. but of course we'll be standing right next to them to guard.
http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/18/1868/Hermits_Cave/Camberwell
we could go, Grove A, Black Horse B, Hermits Cave C - there's about a 20meter cycle in between. Good beer to bike ratio?
..... i'm not helping really... -
• #148
Damn, just agreed to take the misses out. If she cancels, I'll be there.
-

@ corny
I can try, I only manage the place and the owners are akin to a ducks backside but we shall see, numbers would be good and an ETA.

Oh and my avater, courtesy of computer literate son, is me heading off with the remains of Joann Good's car, given her recent comments about cyclists....
Fuck's sake, did no one tell you?
