The real stuff is supposed to start happening over the next few months.
I was listening to an interview with a physicist (on Quirks and Quakes, a CBC radio show) on which he was asked how the world of physics has changed in the last 35 years (the length of time the radio show, originally hosted by David Suzuki, has been on the air). Unlike the other experts in different science fields who were asked the same question, his answer was: it really hasn't. The standard model, surprisingly to most physicists apparently, has not been proven wrong. Yet. He believes (and claims that almost everyone else expects that same) that in the next few months, thanks to the LHC, things will change.
I don't know what any of that means really. Sounded important though.

If Majorana particles exist, it's likely neutrinos have mass. Would affect a lot of cosmology.

True, but the current limits on neutrino mass come from cosmological measurements, this would really be further confirmation.
And the photon and the Z are also their own antiparticle, but that's nothing to get too worried about, 'anti-matter' is a lot less exotic than people imagine.
