I have to see what is available in London, saw some at HMV, think it was Slim Susie (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0323998/) and Fucking Åmål (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0150662/). But will have a look this weekend. And of course pusher (danish movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0117407/)

Just remembered a fave - 12 Monkeys! I like Pittie in that and Kalifornia.

I mentioned this one to Scott and he looked at me blankly. Clearks will be the more difficult one to get hold of though.
I'm sure I'll be able to find a friend or forumenger who's going Stateside to pick up a copy of Clerks. In fact I might get the entire New Jersey box set, if I can find it...

'Run lola run' is a great film!
Maybe the theme for the first film night should be 'firsts'...meaning the first film from a series of sequals....just an idea...:)Too bad Lola wasn't on a bike... then it would've been even better. Maybe we should make our own version... "Ride Lola Ride".

I'm trying to figure out if you're making some obscure porn reference or not... but I don't want to risk Googling too extensively on this subject while at work...

german ones, don#t forget Good bye Lenin and the Live of others.
Also I have five or six films from Aki Kaurismäki, best director to came out from
Finland, his movies are like the finish people, peaceful and relax, no much agitation, really good stuff -

that's my favorite movie!! the most beautiful cinematography ever.
i am soooo into this idea (once i get to london... less than two weeks!)! projector movie marathons are the best ... i want to do a godfather marathon because i've never seen any of them. or rocky. i feel like i'm missing out on the classics.
does anybody in the uk watch a show called arrested development? it really is the most genius and hilarious sitcom ever, it was cancelled from the fox network and has since developed a cult following over here in the usa. i've got it all on dvd, there's 3 seasons of it, and it's perfect for marathoning. i am really curious as to whether or not anybody watches it over there.
Mary got me into it after i failed at Seinfeld.
I have been watching it on MSN pretty much every night. But yehhh bring the dvds over.

I would love to do Twin Peaks, both series.
Excluding Fire Walk with Me (even with the David Bowie cameo) is rubbish by comparison
+1 good call

You could have a Studio Ghibli session for the morning after. My Neighbour Totoro and then getting into the weirder ones for the hardcore as the day moves on. Double marathon.
