  • Cool tricks:

    your typical cannondale rider

  • I like the older stuff but to be honest nothing beats watching morgan wade ride.

  • There is certainly nothing insane about that first video. Bunch of daft American cunts. Jumping onto a bmx that is resting on a rail is neither big nor clever. Flatland, however is a whole different ball game. That shit's hard work believe me! Takes a lot of dedication.

  • god that looks like the Peter Smolik of the BMX world!!

    yeah good comparison
i think smolik has a horrible style in skating but the bmx version has a good one

It may not be the 'most insane BMX video ever' but it is still pretty impressive.

    • 1 Flare transfer he tried at Backyard 06 was insane in every sense of the word

well, yeh, a smattering of hyperbole maybe.. but it got people attention at least

  • Two pages and no-one has posted Van Homans section on Criminal Mischief?

    YouTube - Little Devil-Van Homan

7 years old and arguably not been bettered...

And eating shit on that scale doesn't?

  • Retribution lot are from Eastbourne and surroundings right?

One of my fav videos of recent years is Pepi's part from The Circle.
Not only did he help bring freestyle to the mainstream through BMXbeat, he was still riding up until the day he died.

For those that don't know, the circle was put together by Piers and Hugh Chapman, local park bosses at Horsham. Has a nice section from Max Woods, you are think rides for Proper now.

  • YouTube - Rob Ridge

UK tech rider Rob Ridge, slipped my mind until today!!

That's right Retribution is James Coxs' company. He also works for 4 Down and Dig.

I've only ridden at Horsham a couple of times; good park, amazing locals... Never met Pepi but sad news all the same.

That Van Homan Section is amazing. I was addicted to Criminal Mischief. The whole vid is amazing. As far as UK vids go it is all about Tomorrow we work and Voices.

  • Oh, and if any of you are iterested (and its dry) it tends to be unoficial BMX night at Cantalowes on Wednesdays. Bicycle Union come and destoy the bowl.

  • seeing as we re getting off fixed topic, have a look at what you can do on a windsurf board these days. it's what i do when it's too windy to go riding.

  • BMX's are single speed and the name of the tread is the most insane BMX video ever. BMX videos kind of make sence to be in this thread.

  • off topic!?

  • okay i ll start a windsurfing thread then. they re kind of single speed i suppose

  • okay i ll start a windsurfing thread then. they re kind of single speed i suppose

Given that I can't think of one trick done on a fixed that hasn't been done on a BMX I'd suggest that this thread is a bit more valid than one on windsurfing.
