  • He's saying it looks rubbish. Any more detail would be time-wasting.

  • I think what Pistinator meant to say is "It is gash"

  • why don't you take it apart and try and sell all the parts in separate threads?

  • I was trying to be encouraging and you lot back from the pub (except BMMF who hasn't got a job) are all being mean

  • fair enough, each to their own.

  • poor mr icecream man he went to ALOT of effort

  • I'm under the heady influence of Paracetemol and sparkling Shiraz though (don't knock sparkling red till you've tried it).

  • Toby, thank you so much for introducing me to simulaids.com. You can not know how much I appreciate it, and i'm not being sarcastic.

  • sparkling shiraz is like babycham innit

I never knew you was black

  • why black spokes on white front hub, yet silver spokes and silver hub?!? confused.

it seemed to be that the rear wheel aside from the velocity rims are stock Bianchi item, I'm guessing he ran out of cash after splashing out for the black spokes and Phil hub on his front wheel.

  • I recognised it as a Pista after a quick observing, but had he change his fork to a different one - it would be hard to tell.

despite everyone dislike I quite like it, with the expection of the unusual colour combination of the grey stem, seat post, crank, the white Phil and black spokes.

  • ahhh guys !! your all such Jeramiahs !!

the bike looks good, far better than any average OTP bike. So there !!

Well done Mr ice cream man !! If you like it that's what counts the most ....

  • exactly, far better than the OTP Bianchi Pista even (which isn't bad in itself, it just kinda bothering to see the same shit everydays).

  • its pink? and no brake??

If you are happy ..thats all that matters!!

  • Would you like to elaborate Pistanator.............?

1- Sticker on the front wheel, none on the rear - ALL or nothing
2 - No straps, how the hell you gonna stop?
3 - White hub, black spokes and rim? Why?
4 - Silver rear hub, front is white?
5 - Silver rear spokes, front are black
6 - Powdercoating some perfectly fine steel/alloy components - looks shit
7 - Have you powdercoated a Sugino 75 crank?(sorry, can't make it out properly from the pic)
    8 - Forks look shit
9 - Decent components(Phil, Sugino 75) on a shitty Pista - you can't polish a turd. Although I'll give you 6 over 10 for effort. Looks better than the original ;-)

  • I think it's ok. at least he's put thought and effort in. sure, there are some finishing issues and a coupla design issues that don't quite work (hub / spoke / rim colour combinations).

There aren't enough links in your chain to take the rear wheel out. And I'd lose the brooks too if it were mine.

  • That saddle is not flat!

    Fail.

  • I'm under the heady influence of Paracetemol and sparkling Shiraz though (don't knock sparkling red till you've tried it).

Sparkling red? You are a drug abuser.

  • Check out the breath of people who've been on the Champagne - smells like shit. I'm not saying shit as in bad, I'm saying shit as in excrement. If I had to narrow it down, I'd say cat poo.

Sparkling red tastes nicer and doesn't give you faecal airways.

You are clearly a mentalist and should be sectioned forthwith, not only for your own good, but for the good of wine conosewers like my own good self.

Get out of town, goat botherer.

You can roll the chain off the chainring when it's tight like that & same to get it back on I think.

I think everyones being a bit harsh... straps are a must... that is the daft bit but the rest is ok. I suppose you've got to be prepared for all sorts of comments when you post on a public forum. I'm quite liking the grey components, I got my frame done the same colour & I love it. Who gives a shit about your spoke colour, as long as the wheels are going round, you'll never notice

  • I reckon a flat saddle is a must. Fundamental, but I see a hell of a lot bikes with saddles set-up wrong.

  • sparkling Shiraz though (don't knock sparkling red till you've tried it).
Hell yes! (They do a very good bottle at Yauatcha, goes great with the Dim Sum) [/grim up north london conversation]

  • Cremant is always better than Champagne IMO (dang! meant to stop this type of chat).

Oh and Icecream, the bike's fine but you'd get a better response by following a bit of forum etiquette.

  • No he wouldn't :)
