Understandably, anyone who was around in the beginning would feel some sentimentality about it, and perhaps it was a less watered down experience due to a) the smaller numbers involved, and b) the 'catchment demographic' being less affected by fixie-as-fashion than it is today; but that doesn't stop interesting new contributors surfacing every week.
