there are two types of new posters. i have a degree of latitude towards those who ask silly questions; everyone started somewhere. and then there are those who come on and within 2 minutes are the resident experts on everything under the sun. this i find much more annoying, although i'm not sure why. probably because they're often wrong, but also because it seems excessive. and a little bit uncouth.
