The Vittoria guy was in the shop yesterday. I think 14 will be stocking them... and he also whispered to me that they have the white ones too.

Armadillos are a dream compared to my Continental indoor trainer tyre. Only have the one geared road bike so I've had to be swapping tyres quite a lot over winter, always hate having to put that bastard on. Always pisses me right off, the armadillo feels so soft and friendly after wrestling with cunt of a tyre.

Vittoria Folding trainer tyre was a piece of piss fortunately - Hopefully it'll be quite easy to switch when needs be.

I've lost 3 bloody levers to Armadillos so far...

Spoons are good substitutes.

In Ed's defence, someone has to :-), the rim can make quite a difference too.

I recently moved some tryes from an Open Pro where they were so loose they almost fell off to a Navigator rim where it was much more of a struggle.
I think rim tolerances must be larger than I would expect.

i got my 28c randy on an H+son no probs..... til i realised i put it on the wrong way and had to switch it round.

Got my randonneur today, easy to put on, though not as easy as a refuse. Dont know what all the fuss was about.

the inner tube I used was too big (28-32c) since the inside is about 25c, hence why I kept getting random lump on the tyres.

put an 18-25c inner tube in and it's a piece of piss.
