I was under the impression I'd posted 5 times now... and I've been around a week now... maybe this is #5 - I expected to be out of the nursery by now...

You are out of the nursery.
Hmm... it would be terrible, but maybe I should display somewhere who is in the nursery... maybe on their user profile pages.

I can't seem to reply to any of the threads on the Birmingham forum. Any suggestions?

Hello all, I hope you have all had good NYs and Christmas's. Back to buisness now. Tomorrow I will be at the lamb on Lambs Conduit St for a slightly longer ride up to North Drinks. Most of the route is as normal but with a loop added on to the end. Meet at 6.30 and leave at 7.
Any new chaps to the forum or people who live north and havent come along yet are encoraged to come along for the ride and a drink followed by pizza. I fact anyone who just wants a ride is welcome. Route below:

at the risk of being shouted at for not searching- I need advce regarding which cog to get for my system ex hub? looking for a 16t, is the surly the best bet? or anyone have a second hand one would be fine too, thanks.
-
• #992
Surly are shit, wear really quickly. Buy an EAI, Cavendish stock them, as do Brick Lane Bikes.
-
• #993
Yep, surly's more than fine and still relatively cheap ...
-
• #994
Are you joking? I've not come across one person who has been happy with their Surly cogs (unless you count "oh well, you get what you pay for" as being happy). EAIs are only a quid or two more and last vastly longer.
-
• #995
maybe that's because I don't ride as much as I would like to, don't skid and rarely track stand (though I'm quite good at it) ;)
