haha indeed :) There is much trolling of newbies, i seem to have come off lightly so far...
I have seen many v narrow bars, the guys riding them seem to think they look cool, not honestly that bothered as long as I can nip thru traffic easy enuf.
There seems to be a backlash against risers amongst many on this site, made for amusing reading at least, opinion on bullhorns/ pursuits seems divided. Seems like a darned expensive way of finding a comfy riding position.
Anyone selling fairly narrow [i am a med size woman] bullhorns/ risers/ flats/ noodle nittos/ etc for me to try out? My current drops are a 42
I have some risers which you can have for the princely sum of nothing, just roll up to South Beers and pick them up.
The disclaimer here being, in a Q and A format:
Q What clamp diameter
A Beats meQ How wide are they
A ErmQ What make are they
A No ideaQ What are they made of
A Probably aluminium, well, metal at leastQ Where did you get them
A Off an old mountian bike which I pulled out of a skipSo, if you want them after that they are yours

morgybaby, if you've got nothing good to post, don't post it. Comment on stuff which amuses you, enlightens you, or confuses you, don't use your first five posts as number count until you can start your own thread. That way leads to opprobrium and possible banishment by our esteemed leader velocity boy, also it marks you out as a bit of **** (insert own four letter expletive here).
So for the love of (insert own hallowed religious icon here) please don't do it. Ask questions, banter join in the spreading of information, but don't just post the numbers leading upto five in random threads.that is all..

New Person Alert!
hello, I've just moved to London but I seemed to leave all my friends behind. Many of them didn't ride bikes, what was wrong with them? And my house mates woulld rather get a taxi to work than borrow my fixed wheeled Martin when their bike was knackered.
that is all for now

hmm
Welcome thrash. If you do a search on bb problems there is very likely to be a thread that is similar to your problem. Add a new response to that and a) you don't have to wait to start a new thread and b) you'll be warmly welcomed for being sensible and using the search function. *
*I offer no guarantee that this is true as some pissed up forumenger might have a pop. Watch out for dogsballs especially. He's got the painters and decoraters in at the moment, if you get my drift.
