can you give an example Hippy?
Incident:
http://www.londonfgss.com/thread1264.htmlReport to PCO result:
http://www.londonfgss.com/post36559-57.htmlThe Public Carriage Office has no legislative power to investigate road traffic offences committed by cab drivers. I can only advise you that if you have a complaint about the driving behaviour of a cab driver you must report the matter in person to the nearest police station.

Cyclists are never badly behaved.
I'm a motherfucking angel, I am.

You don't need to, everybody hates cyclists and complains about them constantly.
From the TfL report on cycling p.21, chapter 5 on "Attitude to Cycling"
"Cyclists in London are seen as a nuisance among both non-cyclists and cyclists. Much the same as the common car driver dictum, cyclists view all other cyclists as awful – yet they exclude themselves from this categorisation"

Fair do's to you all.
I have to say that it should be a matter of habbit that if a taxi (or other road user, even other cyclists) are being obvious tits, then you should point it out to hem in a calm, collected manner.
Agression is typically responded to with agression (not that I'm really one to talk here), but if you at least point out what effect they are having....then perhapse (and it's a bit of a long shot),just maybe they might think a little more...some other time in the distant future...
Obviously, report incidents that deserve it.....and judging by hippy's experiance, that should be to the police.

Errr. Have you ever tried this? If you haven't, I recommend you don't.

Fuck 'calm'. Some muppet tries running me over and you think I'm going to mention they drive with a little more caution or something? Not likely.

it depends if you want them not to miss you the second time round ;)

I've stood in front of a car encouraging the woman while she's yelling "I'm gonna fucking kill you!".
Let them come back for a second go. It will help my self-defence homicide case greatly. -

I'm starting to think that the tube is a much friendlier place... Nobody has threatened to kill me there

There might be a better place to post this, but I'll put it here for now. Keep your eyes peeled for this cab... Registration number: K961EVL (yeah, I know, the irony); Licence 36984; It's one of those Maroon/Purplish cabs and it came within an inch of taking me out doing about 50mph down Haymarket. I know that nearly all taxis are driven by nutters, but the driver behind the wheel of this cab makes Ed Gein look like a guy you'd be happy to have babysit your kids.
