I believe the "copper" effect here is just a light reflecting off the clearcoat, but I think it looks awesome!!!
Can you get a copper finish flake over the top of grey to get the same result? Or is this never going to happen/look as nice?http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r68/diego174/Masi/DSC06702.jpg
A KHS i had done at Armortex had a very similr finish to that - anthracite/gunmetal metalfake, can remember the RAL code though

Has anyone tried doing Kandy Coats like this:
I'm looking at a nice finish rather that just a shiney flat colour. If Kandy isn't really possible with spray cans (Not sure if I can get the clear stuff in cans, any idea?) then something like this (which I think is a metalic finish with a clear laquer):
Any suggestions of products would be wicked. I've done Piano Black before, but I want to do this properly so need to get the right paint.
Thanks for any tips.

^^Loving the red and white
Currently looking at getting my old and very much loved dmr side kick resprayed.
Anyone know a paint shop that knows what theyre talking about. Ive got some rust going on under the bottom bracket and chainstay. I need a company that are decent enough to not take my money if the frames not worth respraying.... any advice offered?

Got my frame back from Armourtex last week, have to say was very happy with the advice and service.
The only downside is that the palette of RAL colours seems fairly limited compared to the options you have when wet spraying.
Thought the turnaround was super quick too, two days, bam.
Word of warning though—I get the impression that the coat can be a bit fresh when they give it back to you. I was ripping off the bubble wrap (with scissors, I am an idiot) and I nicked the a coat slightly leaving a minor scratch, but no biggie.
Anyway, here she is: RAL 6027 with a clear lacquer.
