Is the alias thing getting out of hand?

as the arrival of alias shows, it feels like its too easy to create an alias, and most of them are just used to derail threads for sport, which seems to be a bit fucked up, can someone let me know when the joke wears thin?

I don't really like 'em but they're usually done by long time members of the forum in response to certain posts. It's a little frustrating but there's a lot of worse trash that I'd rather see the end of. You know what they are. They usually include selling stuff without contributing to the forum.

Just wanted to say I'm not actually Spartacus. I was hoping someone might latch onto that and provide me with some much needed humour on my bus trip to East Ham.

Personally I've had a few of my favourite deadpan comedy moments when 'That shit's fucked up' has been around, but that's mainly because they've popped up to provide some light hand-relief then disappeared again. When they stick around and actually become regular forumengers, then that shit's, well, fucked up.

Alters are tedious - they derail threads to the point where it starts getting to be drag trying to find anything vaguely useful on the forum.
