Oh, I know who people are... but should you all know? Is there a need to allow semi-private accounts (aliases) in case people need to post with some (public) anonymity? Or is the current state leading to a bit of a mess and although no need for semi-private accounts (beyond just not using your real name as your username) has arisen it's better to stem the tide of aliases than leave the ability open?

I need to keep work and my private life very seperate and they do google check frequently.

If you know that an account is an alias, then I'd suggest a more aggressive response to inapporpriate use of aliases (trawling, trolling etc). Kill the account dead the same way you would any other troll. Otherwise, allow the usual funniness to continue.

Aliases Aliaii Alium are shit.

I have a large scale meat grinder at my disposal and I can feed Object, Shin, etc. into it.

To be honest I have to agree with Tommy, using an alias for a throw away comment in reponse to/or for the purposes of propegating humour is fine with me (Hence the list I've just put above).

Starting an alias to troll the forum is a very different thing.
