I saw that guy on kingsland road yesterday. Looks like one of those ski trainers from the gym. Seemed a nice fella cos he smiled when he saw me giggling at him. Looks like he can carve it a bit too - leaning from side to side.

Not bike related-
My Aunt's uncle in law is a paranoid schizophrenic who thinks that the CIA is tryin to control his mind through radio waves so every time he goes out of the house,he wears a tin foil pie dish on his head to deflect the waves and refuses to take it off.

I saw a guy today who had a step machine device. So instead of pedaling he stepped to drive the back wheel. Looked kinda graceful though must have been hard work.
he was on the tweed run.

Take it up with the NHS, that's what he's been diagnosed as.

There's an old fella who often rides up the Old Kent Road on a customised mountain bike. He's fitted a big plastic mixing bowl in front of each handlebar grip, with the bases facing forwards in aerodynamic-stylee. I suppose he wants to keep his hands warm coz he's even 'double-glazed' it by mounting a smaller mixing bowl inside the larger ones. It ain't easy to describe this fella's set-up, but it brings a smile to my face everytime I seem him - and I always have to look over my shoulder about five times to check out the full effect when I pass him.
He's certainly the best character I see on my way into town. The double glazing is a new development - thanks for confirming what I suspected I'd seen.
