I have fired a blank from one of the 6' Guns on the HMS Belfast it was both loud and epic.

The six guns on the front of HMS Belfast are elevated to hurl a 51kg shell at the Days Hotel London North 12 miles away.

HMS Belfast's guns are still operational and all you would need are:

[*]cordite

[*]a six-person crew to man the winches

[*]the firing pin.

You would also need to know how to do this, but apparently this information is helpfully displayed in a video which plays next to the guns.
