Its my mate Ollie's bike, he strippied as much as he could off the bike to make it easy to bring over on the train from Paris. I guess the rack can go back on once he gets the completed bike back home.
He has left it with me for this week as he has gone home to Paris, but he is coming back next weekend, hence my rush to find bits for it, to try and get it rolling for the weekend.
Long reach brake found for £11 this morning at Simpsons on the way into the office.
Will call you later about wheels.

Very true, I remember someone once who used to work in a Bike Shop in Kentish Town, but I haven't seen him in ages, can't really remember what he looks like, sort of like a faded memory. I also remember someone saying something about a card which I don't think anyone saw... hmmmm

It's not Owens fault. His haircut fused with one of his band members to make a whole vagina.

my independence is back! new wheel arrived (after the tension to taco of last tuesday) and it is lush. possibly the nicest wheel i've owned. i may make a brief appearance for a guiness and show it off and break some smoking associations. but the wheel has left me with £90 to last until end of april. ah well, am going doing this office move for skully, selling my old pedals and holdfasts and the hub from the fucked wheel, best way to get the hub out? detension the wheel then snip the spokes?
edit: also, does anyone have an old tyre going to cheep?
