I may pop round briefly before going down to the wedding. It is, of course, worth noting that it's actually at the bottom of Muswell Hill, not at the top.

One dose have to ride over the evil hill that leads into Crouch End to get there though. Note: its not evil but trying to deswade other Londeners getting there and getting all the good stuff before me.

I noticed it was more Crouch End, but thought it would be really funny if someone rode up that hill before realising they shouldn't be there.
It would tho', wouldn't it?

I fully intend literally rolling down the hill to the jumble.

Is anyone here going jumbling up Muswell Hill way on Sat morning?
Yes.

I'm of course really honestly genuinely not trying to sabotage your project here, Andy, but did you know that going via Turnpike Lane actually cuts out hillage almost entirely? You only have that short bump between Wightman Road and Tottenham Lane. Easy peasy. This will enable lots and lots of people to flock to the jumble to be there in time for it opening. :)

P.S. I love Andy's natural assumption that lots of people will go there by bike.

Whilst they're taking the long way to avoid hillage I'll be sipping tea out of a mug and hopefully enjoying a bacon roll whilst looking at random bike bits. PGM will be late because he'll have been up all night and be nursing a hangover.

There is no other way into Crouch end. It is a transport black spot.
I live on the wrong side of Crouch end to avoid the hill via Turpick Lane. Luckely I live on top of the hill so there is a nice roll down, and its an easy climb back up.

I will take it easy this Friday. Just like I did last Friday.

I really need a threaded campag headset. I'm gonna do my best to make it up but may already be double booked.
If anyone picks a usable one up for me I'll be forever in their debt. -
