Norths not at The Flask ? Surely not???

Not that I see any need to change pubs but anyone know anything about the Prince of Wales? It's a pub and it's at the top of Swain's.
I have been there but that was the best part of 20 years ago and I don't recall anything about it. fancyapint rates it tho.

I was playing devils advocate.
A pint of ale is about 3.30 or summit I think. Which is the same as at easts and souths.
Reasons to stay at the flask:
[*]Awesome climb to the top making for a lovely first pint
[]Great garden with loads of space
[]They don't mind bikes in the garden (unless we block the secret trap door)
[]Outdoor smoking heaters for us healthy folk
[]Bryce's Girlfriend
[]Friendly barstaff
[]Pay for one beer by card
[]Close to the king of pizzaa
[]Downhill all the way home
Now if you can beat the list for reasons against the flask then be my guestMattty, could well be up for rolling down to Kew from North. Who else is coming along?
Bridges ride sounds good, where were you thinking of meeting?

The Prince of Wales is a lovely pub with fantastic real ales. It is far to small for north drinks though.

They do a reasonable Thai too... oo er...
-
• #7010
I was going to say that but couldnt work out how to spell Thai.

Flask is distinctly the best pub for the purpose around there. I like the Fullback, especially the smoking area reminiscent of a 70s adventure playground but there's no hill to make you earn your beer.

Fucking ancient (but well preserved).

It is with some disgust that I have read the recent postings with regards moving North Drinks.
North Drinks is at the Flask, other pubs might exist, but they are not where North Drinks is held

Hey peeps, happy new year!!!!
I just arrived from holidays.. regarding the discussion about the Flask, it is certainly the best pub in the arear for our purposes. Plus they know us and they don't mind the bikes, as Owen pointed. -
• #7016
and it sounds like any other pub would involve me ascending this at the end.
