Broken collarbone as suspected so a few weeks off the bike. The worst part was telling my girlfriend who was about to go into a meeting in New York. Oh, and realising the surfing/diving trip to indonesia in 2 weeks may be more of a sitting on a load of beaches watching world class waves trip.

Maybe I'll leave my future skidding to functional stopping rather than drunk distance efforts. Nah, no handed next time...

But it's a 6 week process. 6 weeks to the day of my crash my shoulder loosened up and I got full mobility back.
During that time your shoulder muscles will be tensioned to prevent you moving too much.

I'll find out on Thursday at 'Fracture Clinic'. Sounds like a depressing day out to me. The doctor last night didn't think it would be necessary in a htfu kind of way.

Oh, I was being seen by the doc when I thought I saw you and shouted 'Matt, do a skid' but you clearly didn't hear. The doc looked a bit baffled though.
