Still it's sufficiently close to the Easties hangout at The Jolly Butchers (London N16) that perhaps a few would like to come along?
Post in the Easts thread.

Very good Norths on Tour last night - highlights were Ramsaye learning that a kebab can be more than a dirty doner on the way home from the pub and the amazing late night Hot Nuts!
I'm ready to go back to the Flask now though - no locks required, nice fireplace, roll home down the hill and a room to call our own.

Pints of Big Chief, 2 portions of cig kofte and going home with hot nuts...

Will the flask be open next week
-
• #25832
Yes - it reopens on Friday - with soft launch tomorrow.
-
• #25833
I'll give you a soft launch.
-
• #25834
We've heard that you suffer from that, don't worry it affects lots of men. Especially as you get older.
-

It is a 'soft-launch' 'colourway' 'pop-up'.
Three of the worst phrases in the 21st century English. And Pirate:
The explicit version of 'it was a good day is here'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiz4SxLTSpE
You can tell when he raps, "I got a beep from Kim and she can fuck all night"
I mean, beep!

Bike's had to be cleaned to check for damage so patina is all gone. I'm not allowed to cycle until sometime next week due to delayed something or other. So won't make it on tonight and I'm doubtful for next week.
Have fun tonight, abuse any free stuff for me.

Who's coming to check out the new Committee room at the flask tomorrow?
I may be on the lucozade after my trip down the road on my side yesterday.
-
• #25840
I'll be aiming to make it up for the first time in far, far too long!

I wouldn't notice a bang on the head.
Shoulder, hip and thigh only for me. It was my foot which shattered the windscreen, my shoulder that dented the bonnet and my cross skills that enabled me to crash with style and panache.

Sounds nasty, lucky your head broke your fall preventing serious injury.
-
• #25847
On a more serious(ish) note, I assume that it is not a good idea to bang your head again anytime soon. That is generally why doctors say things like "stay off the bike for a bit", of course they totally fail to realise that your far more likely to hit your head taking the tube, usually when you have to lay one on yet another dickhead trying to push onto the train before anyone has got off.
Anyway, you can tell us all about it when I buy you a pint of Lucozade and a paracetamol chaser.

Was awesome to get up the hill again, and so nice to see so many of the North's regulars as well as some new faces! Will be sure to make it up there more than once every three years!
