Do we need the committee room? Hadn't noticed any snow forecast for tonight.

Great. We have come down from the mountains for a few days in Salzburg to thaw out. To be honest it is a little disappointing. I was hoping for some culture, you know, Julie Andrews and songs about venison with jam butties but everything is based on some unctuous kid who could bang out a few notes on the piano.

Jamie Cullum?

Ah yes, they are remarkably attached to that Mozart bloke, I mean, he could knock out a nice enough tune but lets face it, he's no "Girls Aloud" is he? Nice balls tho.

Oh yes, the mighty Quo are playing at the weekend so the locals will at last experience some proper music.

Not only that, but everybody speaks Austrian and not English. What's the world coming to?

Oliver, you really should get out more. Everyone in Austria speaks good English, there really is no need for all the other dying regional dialects across Europe.

So educational this thread. I thought it was bagpiping but perhaps that's only in Scotland.
North drinks; helping prevent embarrassing social misunderstandings since 2008.
I'm heading to the terrace for a hot toddy now.
