The previous post contained assumptions. Apologies if they were incorrect.
Hi-five otherwise!

A truly fantastic evening. Thank you Arvy for organising us all. Amazing cakes from Sally and Vic. Also from Tom. Delicious!
Charlotte's cakes were my personal fave - sooo buttery.

Congratulations on getting the fastest time on your solo ride up box hill.
There were a few Australian athletes getting in the way but I let them pass me! ;)
It is true I did it solo. It was fantastic! Had to encourage the security guards to let me through on the top section as they were about to close it off entirely to cyclists since too many had mashed it up for others by bombing down the empty zig zag road getting their kicks and generally causing chaos for the event organisers! They eventually let me through when I claimed my innocence! -

P.S. If anybody else is taking the day off work today, it might be worth heading to Box Hill as all the cycling teams are rehearsing at 1pm this afternoon up there. Go for a look!

Nicely done D. Did you paint anything on the road?

this.
The record time was set on a bike with 86g"s!
I didnt do the TT but learned how to calculate gear inches and I can confirm that even though I didnt ride the TT, I rode highgate hill with 87 gear inches, which was fucking hard :D

87GI? Dude, do your knees a favour and drop your gearing. Tom might have done it on 86GI but he is made of a different material from the rest of us.

Wished I'd seen this earlier. I would have binned work off for a ride out there.

Anyone fancy a beer later?

Hmm beer.
Was thinking about going to the South bank on the olympic lanes to have a look at how frenzied Critical Mass was looking.

My hangover lasted until friday.
Was a wonderful evening with great people both new to me and old pals.
All the cake was scrumptious as well, would eat again. -
