Last night coming back from the Flask I hit another massive pothole somewhere on Southwood Lane. Didn't get a puncture this time, instead it knocked my brake lever down the bars and clamped my brake on.

Yeah, thought I had a puncture, then realised my wheel wouldn't move and thought I had buckled it. Took me a good few minutes to work out. My front wheel is going to need some trueing soon, it's taken a right beating.

Any nice routes to reach Flask starting from Northwood? Or should I consider West beers after all:)

And of course suggestions how to RETURN are welcome - rider safety paramount.

In the age of Pokemon, you don't have to make an effort at facepainting. Just do some squiggly lines at odd angles in strange colours and invent a silly name for it. They'll love it.
