My other options include a bike that has no components attached and is probably for the scrap heap, and 15kg+ of steel that refuses to move up anything steeper than about 5% ;)

Far as I can tell, mine needs a new headset, bottom brack, chainring, and hub cups/bearings... I just need to throw it the fuck out really
(then htfu)

I have never done any form of maintenance on that bike. It just gets ridden.
