  • Looks sweet, should look great built up. I am after a frame with really steep seat stays instead of the more relaxed angle of mine, think they are so aesthetically pleasing to my eye. What percentage of the build have you got so far?

  • That looks really nice. I like.

  • Not ashamed at all, people just seem to dislike them. It's the fastest vehicle I've ever been in charge of. I love it.

Max, nothing to be ashamed of, you should see what I'm riding!

They do seem to get a hard time on the forum,

  • This is a Langster that Andy from FGL built, I think it looks awesome! Although I'd loose the aerospok and have matching deep V's.

  • Just printed off a few of these, have a look tomorrow and see what you think.

i don't mean to offend but this has a few problems

1: mispelt drinks - just spell it properly
2: cog needs replacing - it's way too spikey, i have a good brush for cogs if you want it
3: why bother aligning the lines in the middle but not at the top - just makes no sense
4: lockring could do with being symmetrical

aside from that - it's good

  • Nice clean and uncluttered look, i like. Would defo have matching rims though.

Hi Flickwig, this was put together in under 10 mins in illustrator, whilst doing 20 other things, so I never expected it to be perfect and never thought I'd get adopted as a design, I was just playing around.

    But,

    1. Drinx is a reference to the Trix/Chix/Dix/Fix theme
    2. Got any cog vectors? I actually didnt count how many teeht it had when building it.
    3. The card (if made) will be folded so you'll never see the lines together, I just drew it that way, also the wavy lines were reference to the kinda shapes people will be making on the way home after a 'few' beers.
    4. Again, rush job is only justification for this.

    D :)

    It needs more brakes! ;)

  • Ok, so do we have a head count for tomorrow yet?

  • Keep the aerospok, doesn't look bad. but those forks had me adjusting my screen.. saying that I can't talk, i have spent the last week going round with these huge raked hill climbers!

with Flickbean on the spelling, but it took me a while to spoke the lack difference in the lock ring. took a keen eye. I'd also add a teeth marks in the corner to show the pure fear of the TT

  • Home time now. Bring on the rain. Haha.

  • .

  • I am going to swing up post central as it's homebound and makes a change from me cluttering the ANgel. Mike and Dale should make an effort as it's local.. i might ask Tynan so he can drop my level off.. being too lazy to cycle past primrose hill ;)

  • Sorry hassanr, thanks for putting me right, I saw this and presumed they were NYC built:

(for the short sighted amongst us, it says Staten Island, New York on the badge.

Thoughts on the IRO appreciated. :)

  • That is a nice bike, and imo would be even nicer without aerospok. I've witched the bars as well for risers and I'll soon be having red rubinos(jensens were out of blacks and I'm impatient).

  • IRO frames will bend before deepVs will bend, ask rjs.

Why not come to the John Snow tomorrow?

Why not come to the John Snow tomorrow?

REALLY!! Coz I'm seriously considering one! I dont want a soggy bike coz I'm not the lightest built, I'll pick RJS' brains then.

Not JS coz we've spent an age deciding to go to the flask, I would come b4 but got leaving drinks for a colleague first, damn my busy social calendar!

  • Sounds good. See you guys at the John Snow.

  • Christ. What was the 'incident' that caused that?
And am I right in thinking that that is a Mark V frame coz the one I'm looking at is the Angus

i thought the lines reflected those left from skids, much like the mash stuff

  • Maybe on a sub-concious level. Skids/Wobbly drunk riders, all the same in the end.

  • i think I am saving myself for the brighton run... so might not pop by... next week may be

What's this about a Brighton run? Not that I can make it - I just want to torture myself with not being able to go.
